Self-confidence is loosely discussed as a personality trait or even a way of being. Much of society is fixed-minded so the concept of self-confidence is assumed to be an innate personality trait. The fact is that self-confidence is a feeling. Beliefs, or knowings, are all feelings and the more we trigger those feelings, the more we strengthen the neural pathways. This process molds our character as the feelings become habitual and the subconscious takes over.
So self-confidence can be developed, but what most don't realize is that the stored fear needs to be removed before anyone can add feelings, of beliefs or knowings, that relate to self-confidence, or self-love. This is the "inner work" that most spiritualists talk about. Another moniker is "healing the inner child", as a way to describe healing past trauma, which is stored fear.
The self-confidence helps to develop a growth mindset to literally become more productive and to even develop the courage to request raises or promotions. Self-confidence is also at the core of great leadership.
So let's get this party started and share your perspective on self-confidence and let's help each other grow and make more money at work!
